Banani International Secondary School is a residential international girls' secondary school (grades 8-12) in Chisamba, Zambia. The nearest village is Liteta. It is a non-profit institution and follows the principles of the Bahá'í Faith. It was inaugurated by the William Mmutle Masetlha Foundation〔(Two Bahá'í International Community Projects: Cameroon and Zambia ) report submitted by the Bahá'í International Community Office for the Advancement of Women in April 1996, appears in The Emerging Role of NGOs in African Sustainable Development, published by the United Nations and distributed to participants in the Mid-Term Review of the United Nations New Agenda for the Development of Africa in the 1990s (UN-NADAF).〕 under the direction of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Zambia〔(The Masetlha Foundation: Health, Literacy, & Education in Zambia ) 1996-97 edition of The Bahá'í World, pp. 221-226.〕 and named after Hand of the Cause Mr. Musa Banani. == School Motto == "Let your vision be world embracing, rather than confined to your own self."
